The Innotech VAVMAX Controller is a state of the art digital Variable Air Volume Control System combined with additional digital process control functions, providing the capability of controlling various types of industrial, commercial and domestic systems.
The VAVMAX can operate as a standalone device, using its own Universal Inputs to read sensors and Universal and TRIAC outputs to control external equipment, or as part of a network of Innotech devices that support NetComms or on a Subnet handled by the Innotech Gateway.
The VAVMAX controller features Universal I/O channels (UIO) which combine the functions of Universal Input and Analog Output channels into a single software programmable channel. Each UIO can be independently set via software to have input or output functionality. With this structure, you are free to assign functions as required, instead of choosing a fixed controller to fit the job.
Each Device comes preconfigured with a standard VAV configuration which can be edited or rewritten if required on a computer using MaxCon, a Windows based design program. This allows the user to configure the internal processes of the VAVMAX by using a graphical programming tool. The user places various process blocks and interconnecting lines to design the required control algorithm for the system. A connector on the bottom right side of the case provides the RS485 communication channel for communicating with other networked devices or with the Handheld Commissioning |
